This hotel hosts a lot of American business people, but the City of London worked well for a couple of tourists. Great neighborhood. Five-minute walk to the Tower Hill Underground station. Nearby, find a part of the ancient Roman wall that once surrounded "Londinium." Walk past the Tower of London - surrounded by a moat of flowers - to the pier to catch a river taxi, the Thames Clipper. Fun and convenient, you can use Oyster Cards. A short walk across the Tower Bridge to the South Bank and its river walk. Our room was small but easy to use with a well-thought-out design. For example, the desk doubles as a vanity. I appreciated the uncluttered minimalist aesthetic. Daily housekeeping helped us stay organized. The staff was super helpful. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the VIP lounge for breakfast or to grab a beverage on our way out. The rooftop lounge is cool. We were there for a week and really enjoyed our stay.

The location was great since it was central to a lot of the tourist stuff ie london bridge, restaurants and the tube. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a peleton bike in the fitness center. I used it 4 out of 8 days since I own a peleton bike and have a monthly membership. The breakfast was fantastic since I thought we only getting a basic continental breakfast. The service at the hotel and in the dining room was great. The room was clean, quiet, the bed was very comfy, the shower had great water pressure and had great amenities ie iron, bar fridge, 2 small bottles of water daily and had daily housekeeping. I would highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we are back in London. The cookies we got when we arrived at reception and the 3 mini sweets we received in our hotel room on our first day was a nice touch. I also love the check out time at noon since we did not feel rushed.

Close to lots of landmarks and tube station, lovely friendly atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, especially Heena who booked us in and yuri the concierge, he can help with any aspect eg booking trips finding, the correct tube lines, parking he’s got all the knowledge and is more than willing to assist. Fab stay you won’t be disappointed. The hotel was lovely,, clean, modern , breakfast was choice of English, continental, fruits cereals and more ….teas, coffees, fresh juices, water and the food was fully topped up at all times.or can be delivered to your room for a £5 tray fee if you want breakfast in bed The savage garden on 12 can all be booked online.it was great views, to see the shard and tower bridge . Good idea to look at the drink and food menu prices if your on a budget, although I’m sure it would be the same at any other rooftop venue round London.

Very welcoming. Check in was smooth. Warm cookies on arrival, such a cute gesture. Room was clean. All staff were attentive, kind and friendly. This hotel is situated about 5-10 mins walk to The Tower Bridge. The hotel also has a sophisticated but boujee cocktail bar on the roof top called Savage, they also have a open rooftop garden. Would highly recommend this hotel. Has many fantastic food restaurants by walking distance. Will most definitely be coming back. Double Tree hotel staff had the initiative to check in with you if everything is okay once we reached to our room. Did get a warm feeling like a sense of efficient hospitality and making sure we was okay.

Excellent staff, particularly Meenah (apologies if I misspelled the name), the view from the window was great we were looking out at the skyscrapers and the famous gherkin. The food at the restaurant next door was great. When we arrived to check in we were greeted with the smile fast service, and warm cookies. I absolutely love Hilton beds and bedding in any Hilton Hotels I stay at. And this was no exception. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel is in a perfect.
